Welcome to TLC

Christ Memorial Tender Learning Center is a Christian childcare center operated by Christ Memorial Lutheran Church. The center has been in operation since September, 1986. We serve families and their children ages 6 weeks through Preschool. We offer both full and part-time care. We are NAEYC accredited and licensed to serve up to 100 children.

We are open from 7:15 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Children of all faith and cultural backgrounds are welcome and are admitted to TLC regardless of race, religion, sex, or ethnic origin. 

Our Story and mission

Christ Memorial Lutheran Church established the Tender Learning Center in 1986 as a gift of service to the local community. For over three decades, the nurture of infants, toddlers, and children has been a primary focus. The church values diversity and loving service to others. Partnering with families to foster growth of body, mind, and spirit is at the heart of our identity. Families with children at the Tender Learning Center are not required to be members of the church but all are welcome and invited to participate in all the events and programs that we offer. Pastor Ryan leads a weekly chapel service for our preschoolers on Wednesday mornings and is available to support the families in our community.

• Large indoor activity center allows us to keep kids active and having fun even on cold and rainy days. Kids can have fun and get their blood pumping through a number of activities like playing on the climber, basketball and group games.
