Our story

Christ Memorial Lutheran Church (CMLC) established the Tender Learning Center (TLC) in 1986 as a gift of service to the local community. For over three decades, the nurture of infants, toddlers, and children has been a primary focus. Partnering with families to foster growth of body, mind, and spirit is also at the heart of our identity. The church values diversity and loving service to others. CMLC members are grateful to be able to partner with TLC families, but families with children at the Tender Learning Center are not required to be members of the church. All families are welcome and invited to participate in all the events and programs that we offer. The pastor leads weekly chapel gatherings for toddler and preschool classes and is available to support the families in our community.
